Carbon fiber

The carbon fiber is a fabric composed of filaments made of synthetic materials derived from oil and processed at high temperatures. The products made using these fabrics impregnated with epoxy resins have an incredibly high strength and modulus of elasticity. They are used for the production of high-tech components for aircraft, vehicles for space applications and also sports equipment; the fibres make it possible to reduce the weight of the final products, without compromising the robustness. The main features are:

High specific strength  ·  High tensile strength  · High modulus -  Low specific weight
